We booked the 2 night summer incl leahys open farm, picnic and one night dinner. Thought it was very good value for money and a great base for fota wildlife and spike island. The room was good, beds very comfortable, and great to have a …
Talbot Midleton is a fabulous hotel on the edge if Midleton town centre. We received a great welcome throughout our visit. The decor is classy and the scent in the hotel is amazing - they have special scent machines. The food and drinks in …
One night stay for work, lovely room. Had a swim in the morning (really friendly staff) followed by breakfast (very helpful staff, provided a take away cup because I was heading off which I really was appreciative of). Checked out and had a great chat with the front desk. 100% the best staff team I've encountered.

Bed sheets weren't changed for the 4 nights we were there. Only 2 bath towels in the room for 4 people, continuously had to ask for extra towels. Seems to be a little confusion with the staff in the leisure centre regarding the age that a child can go swimming unaccompanied. Other than that the hotel was lovely, clean, staff were amazing (other than leisure centre staff). Food at breakfast and dinner was delicious. Really nice atmosphere in the hotel. Great base for exploring other towns in Cork.
Dear Ciara,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay overall, particularly our friendly team, the food, and the atmosphere of the hotel.
We apologise for the issues you experienced with the towels during your stay. This is certainly not the standard we aim to provide, and your comments have been shared with the relevant departments. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the communication in our leisure centre and will ensure this is reviewed with the team to provide a more consistent experience for our guests.
We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back again and provide you with an even better stay.

From the moment we booked, the Talbot Hotel Midleton stood out. They proactively reached out to ask if we had any specific requirements for our stay, as I was traveling with my wife and our two autistic children. To our absolute surprise and delight, they generously upgraded us to a family suite to ensure we had all the space and comfort we needed.
A special shoutout to Katie at reception, who was incredibly accommodating and made our arrival absolutely seamless. I also want to specifically thank the Rooms Manager, Duarte Santos, who truly went above and beyond to accommodate us and ensure our stay was absolutely perfect. From start to finish, every single staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. I honestly cannot fault this hotel at all. Highly recommended, especially for families looking for a supportive, welcoming, and stress-free environment!
